A Wonderful Holiday To Cameron!

1st Jan 2009 was a remarkable day for the fresh start of the year. An odyssey to Cameron Highland was truly an enjoyable experience in my life.

We started our journey as early as 9 am from Damansara, Selangor throughout the NSE to Simpang Pulai,Perak for about 2 hours and 30 minutes. Yet, another few kilometers to reach Cameron Highlands.

Finally, we reached Cameron Highlands at around 12.30 pm. Our first pit stop was, Cactus Point at Brinchang. For cactus lovers, you should spare some of your time there coz there are varities of cactus that you might find it unique and interesting.

After spent a few minutes there, we drove our way to Tanah rata. Well, it's already noon and we haven't take our lunch. We took Nasi Ayam as our lunch, unfortunately the taste is not that good. Huhuhu....

Then, we spent our time at the tower clock and took some pictures there. This tower clock is one of the landmark you may find here in Cameron Highlands. The temperature at Tanah Rata is way too hot compared to Brinchang. It was very uncomfortable.






Later, we went to a Strawberry farm which is quite unique than others. Why? There you can pluck the strawberries by your own. We manage to pluck less than 1/2 kg of strawberries that day though we have to climb up and down the hills. We have been charged RM 16 for the strawberries. Nevertheless, we also bought a box of Cameron Valley tea.

We dropped by at Cameron Valley Tea House at Tringkap. Wow, the view and environment was so nice and soothing. We had our afternoon tea there. What a enjoyable experience we had while we walk around the tea farm.

On the way back, right after Pahang and Perak border, we stopped by to enjoy the nature. We was stunned with the magnificent scene there. The air was breezy and calm. We really hope that we can stay there longer. But we can't due to some reasons.

We drove back to KL and arrived home safely at about 9 pm. Alhamdulillah...
